Pamela McPherson

Dr. McPherson is a child and adolescent and forensic psychiatrist with decades of experience consulting with juvenile justice systems in multiple capacities including court-ordered evaluations, civil rights investigations, monitoring consent decrees, and assisting facilities in achieving compliance with standards of care. In 2018 and 2020, she was a whistleblower, alerting Congress of harm to children in immigration detention facilities. She is an associate professor of psychiatry and behavioral health at the Louisiana State University Medical Center in Shreveport, Louisiana.
