Renée Kopp

Renée has extensive experience in litigation and administrative law. She has developed particular expertise in the health industry sector. She has been involved as counsel in long complex trials before judge and jury and appeared before all levels of court in Ontario.
Renée has represented numerous health organizations, long term care facilities, care agencies, counselling services, fertility clinics, retirement residences and a wide range of professionals (dental hygienists, dentists, geneticists, naturopaths, nurses, optometrists, paramedics, pharmacists, physiotherapists, psychiatrists, social workers) in the defence of professional liability claims, in complaint and disciplinary proceedings pursuant to the Regulated Health Professions Act, in Coroner?s investigations and inquests, Ministry of Health and Long Term Care investigations and at Consent and Capacity Board hearings.
Her broader professional liability defence work includes the defence of paralegals, engineers, construction industry workers, b
