Richard Dyer

Richard J. Dyer is president and general manager of WUSA9, the TEGNA-owned CBS affiliate television station in Washington, D.C. Dyer assumed his role in January of 2017, returning to his hometown. Previously, Dyer was president/general manager of WLWT-TV, in Cincinnati and KETV in Omaha, Nebraska. Dyer earned a master’s degree in marketing from the University of Maryland and a bachelor’s degree in economics and communications from Boston College.
