Rob currently serves as the Executive Director of the Independent School Alliance (the “Alliance”). Rob currently sits on the advisory board for the National Partnerships for Educational Access where he serves as co-chair, the board of Southern California People of Color in Independent Schools, and is a member of the Greater Los Angeles Area African American Chamber of Commerce. A native of Memphis, Tennessee, Rob earned a Bachelor’s degree in history from Lane College, a Master’s degree in International Relations from Webster University, and a Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Saint Louis University. In his free time, he enjoys riding bikes with his wife and children, watching Jeopardy, reading textbooks, mentoring students and young professionals, and listening to and sharing his favorite podcasts.

Rob is also an independent school parent—his youngest children attend an independent school on the Westside of Los Angeles, where his wife is also an elementary school teacher.”
