Robert Roca MD MPH MBA is Associate Professor and Vice Chair (Clinical Business Development) of the Department of Psychiatry at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Maryland School of Medicine.
He is also Chair of the Council on Geriatric Psychiatry of the American Psychiatric Association, Secretary of the Group for the Advancement of Psychiatry, and a member of the Maryland Board of Physicians. Prior to moving to Johns Hopkins in 2019, he was Vice President and Medical Director (Chief Medical Officer) of the Sheppard Pratt Health System in Towson, Maryland. He trained in internal medicine and psychiatry at the Johns Hopkins Hospital and is board certified in internal medicine, psychiatry, and geriatric psychiatry. He is a 1978 graduate of the UCLA Schools of Medicine and Public Health and a 2008 graduate of the Johns Hopkins Carey School of Business.
