Ronald Wanglin

Ron is Chairman of the Board of Bolton & Company and oversees the company’s Education Practice Group. Ron received his B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley and did his graduate work at Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco. He holds the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and Certified School Risk Manager (CSRM) designations and is a past president of the Independent Insurance Agents Association, Santa Monica Chapter.

Ron has served on the agency advisory councils for ACE, AIG, Berkshire Hathaway, Hartford, Royal/Sunalliance, St. Paul/Travelers and United Educators Insurance Company and has been a frequent speaker on a variety of insurance
topics ranging from risk management for schools to intellectual property insurance.

Ron is also a past board member for the National Business Officers Association (NBOA) and is the 2020 recipient of the Sarah Daignault Outstanding Support of Independent Schools Award. In addition, he has served as a past director of the National Alliance Research Academy, a leading provider of education to the insurance industry, and Assurex Global, an exclusive network of the world’s leading independent brokers. Ron is also a Trustee Emeritus of The Buckley School, is a past Chairman of the American Red Cross (West District, Los Angeles), a past President of the Westwood Village Rotary Club, and has also been honored as Rotarian of the Year.
