Ron is Chairman of the Board of Bolton & Company and is responsible for setting and overseeing the company’s strategic growth and expansion. He has more than 35 years of industry experience, specializing in risks associated with aviation, education, health care, manufacturing, real estate and technology. Ron has served on agency advisory councils for ACE, AIG, Berkshire Hathaway, Hanover, Hartford, Royal/Sunalliance, St. Paul/Travelers and United Educators Insurance Company. He has been a frequent speaker on a variety of insurance topics including enterprise risk management (ERM), intellectual property insurance, employee benefits and retirement plans and the Affordable Care Act (ACA). Organizations presented to include the Beverly Hills Bar Association, the American Conference Institute on Intellectual Property Insurance, Venture Net Conference, National Association of Independent Schools, California Association of Independent Schools and the National Business Officers Association (NBOA), among others. Ron is a past president of the Independent Insurance Agents Association, Santa Monica, past chairman of the Pacific Network Group (PNG), and has served on the boards of Assurex Global, a worldwide network of leading independent brokers, and the National Alliance Research Academy, a leading provider of education to the insurance industry. Ron received his B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley and did his graduate work at Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco. He holds Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and Certified School Risk Manager (CSRM) designations and has served as a national faculty member for the National Alliance for Education. Ron has been active in a variety of civic activities and is a Trustee Emeritus of The Buckley School, past chairman of the American Red Cross (West District, Los Angeles), past president of the Westwood Village Rotary Club, and has served various organizations and boards including the YMCA, MOCA, Hollygrove Orphanage and the Center for Reflective Parenting.
