Sara Avery

Sara Avery is a rising senior Journalism major, Political Science minor and member of the Freddye T. Davy Honors College at Hampton University. During her tenure at Hampton, she has become involved in several curriculum related experiences including active participation as a local and world writer and editor for The Hampton Script campus newspaper, as a photographer for online publication HerCampus, being a member and special projects chair of the student chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists and contributing as a script writer and producer for WHOV-TV and Radio, the school’s station. Next year, she will have the privilege to serve as both the Editor-in-Chief of The Script and as Co-Executive Producer of WHOV-TV and Radio.
