Scott Warren

Scott Warren is the Senior Director of News and Content at Spectrum News 1 in Los Angeles. He launched the network 3 years ago, and helped relaunch Spectrum’s Texas operations into a Statewide Network last year. Scott has created, recreated and launched shows and news operations for CNN, The Weather Channel, Tech TV, and E! Entertainment television, along with local news channels in major markets improving ratings and winning awards along the way. In addition to his linear experience, Scott worked for Yahoo! as a Managing editor, designed and built apps for Ringier Studios, and Executive Produced large scale events for K-1 Kickboxing and The Visual Effects Society Awards. Through all of these diverse experiences, there has been one common denominator. Storytelling. For Scott, the only thing more satisfying than telling rich, compelling, character driven stories, is watching and helping members of his storytelling teams soar far beyond their potential.
