Steve Yoakum

Executive Director, Public School and Education Employee Retirement Systems of Missouri

M. Steve Yoakum joined PSRS/PEERS as Executive Director on June 6, 2001. Yoakum most recently worked in the private sector as a managing partner of Rockwood Capital Advisors of St. Louis. He previously served as PSRS/PEERS Executive Director from 1994-1997, Director of the Missouri State Employees’ Retirement System (MOSERS) from 1987-1994, Director of the Joint Committee on Public Employee Retirement (JCPER) from 1986-1987, and Assistant Director of the Missouri Local Government Employees’ Retirement System (LAGERS) from 1978-1986.
