Tamara Richter

Tamara Richter is an Executive Officer that manages the areas of Registration, Conduct, Human Resources, Finance and Operations for the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA) in Edmonton, Alberta. The CLPNA regulates over 17,000 practical nurses, making it one of the largest nursing regulators in Canada. Tamara has been with the CLPNA in various capacities for over 20 years and has been involved in administration for almost 30 years.

Prior to working with CLPNA Tamara worked with an engineering professional regulatory body and later transitioned to the private sector with a mining company. Over her career, Tamara has gained specialized experiences in the areas of human resources, leadership and information technology development. She is skilled at managing the requirements in planning, designing and building an information architecture that is cable of supporting an organization Strategic Direction as it adapts to changing systems.
