Tia Mitchell

Tia Mitchell is the Washington Correspondent for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. In this role, she writes about Georgia’s congressional delegation, campaigns, elections, and the impact that decisions made in D.C. have on residents of the Peach State. Prior to joining the paper in 2017, Tia spent her entire career in Florida covering local and state government for publications like the Tampa Bay Times and The Florida Times-Union.
