Virgil Gregory

Dr. Gregory has a history of providing services as a clinical social worker using cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) in the treatment of person who have mood, anxiety, psychotic, and substance use disorders. Dr. Gregory’s research focuses on the evaluation and dissemination of CBT for persons with opioid use disorder, affective disorders, and persons of African descent. Dr. Gregory’s research places emphasis on translation to clinical social work practice. Dr. Gregory’s research currently consists of systematic reviews, meta-analyses, scale development/psychometrics, and clinical trials.
