At Matchbox, we often think of a virtual event like it’s a meal we’re preparing for a dinner party (a dinner party for YOUR guests).
- What are the appetizers that will get people excited and talking with each other?
- What’s the main course, the core reason for getting everyone together?
- What’s the dessert that will send everyone home talking?
- And what goes in the goody-bag they take home?
Talking about it this way creates an easy-to-understand shared frame of reference; everyone knows about cooking and recipes, and we all like to hang out in our friends’ kitchens.
So, we turned some of our best, most innovative virtual event session and activity ideas into “Recipes” to share with you, then created a “Kitchen” to hold them all.
