Juan Ruiz

Juan Ruiz is the Credit Cards Editor at The Points Guy. In his role, he is responsible for overseeing credit card content for the site. Before joining TPG, Juan was a career coach and professor at Florida International University and started a successful family travel blog (DoubleDutyDaddy.com) with the purpose of helping people utilize credit card rewards for free travel. He has since contributed credit card and travel content to numerous outlets including Forbes, Business Insider, NerdWallet and of course, TPG. Beyond his work scope, Juan has visited 37 countries and is always looking to maximize the value of his points and miles to enjoy travel with his wife and twin daughters.
