Lisa Stevenson

Lisa Stevenson loves to learn and share knowledge with her students, family, and anyone that will listen to her! She enjoys mysteries, reading, walking, baking, singing,and chocolate. Lisa is definitely a people person and will “talk your ear off” if given the chance. Hard work and dedication are the ideals that she strives to live by in life. There is no one quote that she says all the time, but she does have one hanging in her classroom from the Apollo 13 movie (one of my favorites): “Failure is not an option.” As cheesy as it may sound, Lisa loves teaching. She has been teaching for 27 years. Lisa began her teaching career at the Hannibal Middle School, where she taught for 5 years. The last 22 years have been spent at South Shelby where she taught science and STEM, 21 of those years at the Middle School and this year at the High School doing Chemistry and Physical Science. Also, Lisa is the sponsor for the Archery Club and Science Club.
