Mike Martin

Mike Martin has been with MSTA for the past 13 years. He came to MSTA after retiring from the Columbia Police Department after 23+ years earning the rank of Captain and serving as the Assistant to the Chief of Police. His background overseeing the Personnel Development Unit, Policy Development, and Internal Affairs while in an administrative position for 8 years, has given him a strong foundation for dealing with and understanding HR/policy issues. Mike is an avid fisherman, hunter, and golfer – just not very good at any of them. He has been married for 36 years. Together he and his wife Barb have one son, Ben, who is a veterinarian. Ben and his fiancée live in western Nebraska.
