Ryan Vaughn

Ryan is a member of the National Weather Association, holds the NWA Seal of Approval, and was the 2016 Broadcaster of the Year from the National Weather Association. Ryan started at KAIT in 2001, and outside of a 3-year stint at Gray-TV’s sister station in Montgomery, he’s been there ever since. As chief, Ryan has led his team through countless winter storms and tornado outbreaks. Outside of the television business, Ryan has worked as a weather observer for the Federal Aviation Administration.
