Barbara Ciara

Barbara Ciara is the Emmy award-winning Anchor and Managing Editor at WTKR News in Norfolk, Va. She has covered political campaigns and conducted interviews with Presidents Barack Obama and George W. Bush, and has reported from Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Cuba, Haiti and Mexico. She has provided analysis on CNN, CBS News, XM Radio, NPR, among others. Ms. Ciara has served as president of NABJ (2007) and UNITY: Journalists of Color Inc. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Hampton University.
